Lisa Rinna has spoken out after a report claimed she was drugged at a party for The Traitors season four in January. The reality TV star appeared on Good Day New York and told hosts Jerry O’Connell and Rosanna Scotto that she had fentanyl and amphetamines in her system after the event on 8 January.
According to TMZ, Rinna’s co-star Colton Underwood noticed she was “completely inebriated” despite not drinking much and alerted her team. Rinna said she left the party and thanked her husband, Harry Hamlin, for helping her. Asked if she was certain she had been roofied, she replied: “Yes, I was. I had fentanyl in my system.” She added that a test taken after the party showed “high levels of amphetamines and other things”, but said she could not discuss it further as her team was dealing with the leak.
Rinna, known for her roles on Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was selected as one of the traitors on the Peacock series. Her rivalry with Underwood and fellow traitor Rob Rausch featured prominently. The season finale airs on Thursday night.
Rinna said the alleged incident was not isolated: “So many people that I know have had this happen at the Abbey. All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years. And I do think it needs to be a conversation.”
The Abbey released a statement saying it had conducted a thorough internal review after Rinna’s team raised concerns. The venue said security footage showed no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behaviour, and that staff had escorted Rinna safely out when she became unwell. The statement added: “Drink tampering is a crime. If any guest believes their drink has been compromised, we strongly encourage them to report it immediately.”
