Grace Lilly, a star of Bravo’s reality series Southern Hospitality, has been arrested for the second time in recent months. The 27-year-old was taken into custody on Tuesday morning in Charleston, South Carolina, and charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to records obtained by The Independent.
Her bond was set at $10,575, but she was released on personal recognizance, meaning a judge did not require payment as long as she promises to appear in court. The Independent has contacted the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and Bravo for further comment.
This arrest follows a December incident in which Lilly was stopped for an alleged illegal lane change. Police discovered a bottle labelled “Happy Pills” containing Xanax; Lilly claimed she had a prescription but could not provide proof at the time. She was also wanted on a warrant related to a restraining order obtained by her ex-boyfriend over harassment concerning a pet cat.
Authorities allege that after a court awarded ownership of the cat to her ex-boyfriend, Lilly continued to contact him and attempt to enter his apartment. The restraining order was granted after he expressed fear of her “popping up in his life”. Lilly has appeared on all four seasons of Southern Hospitality, a spin-off of Southern Charm set in a Charleston nightclub.
