Gruesome Discovery in Hollywood Hills
In a shocking development that has gripped the entertainment world, the body of missing teenager Celeste Rivas was discovered dismembered and partially frozen in the trunk of a Tesla registered to TikTok sensation and rapper D4vd. The grim finding occurred on September 8, 2025, when authorities impounded the vehicle that had been abandoned for approximately one month in the Hollywood Hills area of California.
Disturbing Details Emerge
Sources close to the investigation have revealed horrifying specifics about the condition of the 19-year-old's remains. According to information obtained by TMZ, the medical examiner received the body decapitated and with limbs removed, the latter having been cut into multiple pieces. All body parts were described as 'partially frozen' and had been thawing within the confines of the singer's electric vehicle.
The state of decomposition was so severe that investigators initially struggled to determine whether the remains belonged to a male or female. While detectives initially classified the case as an 'apparent homicide', the medical examiner now faces significant challenges in establishing both the cause and manner of death due to the condition of the body.
Investigation Takes Dramatic Turn
Earlier this week, reports confirmed that D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is now being treated as a suspect in the case. A police source told People magazine that the singer has been 'not cooperating' with investigators from the beginning of the investigation. Authorities have yet to formally interview the musician about the gruesome discovery.
Despite the challenges in determining the exact cause of death, the LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division continues to approach the case as a homicide, allowing them to proceed with potential arrests. On September 17, 2025, detectives executed a search warrant on the 1300 block of Doheny Place, recovering several items of evidence for analysis.
The investigation faces additional complications as sources indicate springtime is the closest approximation they have for determining when Celeste died. The teenager had been missing for over a year before her remains were discovered.
Following the discovery of Celeste's body, D4vd cancelled the remaining dates of his tour. His representatives initially claimed he was 'fully cooperating' with authorities, though police sources directly contradict this statement. The LAPD continues to urge anyone with information about the investigation to contact Robbery-Homicide Division or LA Crime Stoppers.
