Police Report Exposes Harrowing Details of Alan Ritchson's Violent Street Confrontation

The official police report from the shocking street brawl involving Reacher star Alan Ritchson has revealed chilling new details about the violent confrontation that erupted in a quiet Nashville suburb. The incident, which occurred in Brentwood, Tennessee on March 22, involved Ritchson and neighbor Ronnie Taylor after a dispute over a roaring motorcycle.

Self-Defense Determination and Intoxication Observations

According to documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the Brentwood Police Department concluded that Ritchson acted in self-defense, closing the case without pressing any charges against the actor. The report paints a harrowing picture of the encounter, with multiple officers noting that Taylor appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during the incident.

One officer specifically wrote in the report: "I must note that, while speaking with Mr. Taylor, I observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person." The same officer documented Taylor's visible injuries, describing "a large, bleeding, red, inflamed bump on the left side of his head above his eyebrow" along with facial redness and inflammation consistent with being punched.

The Dispute Over Motorcycle Behavior

The confrontation began when Taylor noticed a man on a green motorcycle revving loudly and speeding up and down Berwyn Court with two children following. Taylor told police he had taken his own motorcycle out to wash it when he observed this behavior.

"Mr. Taylor advised that, because of the male's actions on his motorcycle, he walked out into the middle of the street as the male was riding back down Berwyn Court, telling him to stop what he was doing because kids were playing," per the police report. Taylor claimed the biker fell, got up, pushed him, and then started swinging at him.

Video Evidence and Escalating Tensions

Officers reviewed video footage that appeared to corroborate much of Taylor's account. One officer described the footage showing "the homeowner from Joslin Court, Alan Ritchson, punching Mr. Taylor while Mr. Taylor is on the grass next to the sidewalk."

The report continued: "It should be noted that Mr. Taylor is on his hands and knees while Mr. Ritchson is punching him. Mr. Ritchson's two sons are also on their motorcycles watching this, before Mr. Ritchson tries to get back on his motorcycle, but runs it into the curb, and it falls over."

According to the footage description, the video showed Ritchson revving his bike to urge Taylor to move before pushing him to the ground and punching him several times. The report noted that "the video then shows the two men yelling at each other, and Alan pushing him down. Ronnie then gets in Alan's face and yells at him. Alan then asks Ronnie if he had been drinking."

Conflicting Accounts and Physical Blockage

A different officer detailed Taylor's version of events, where Taylor claimed he told the biker: "Hey guy, dude, you gotta stop. You gotta stop like in these neighborhoods, right!" After this exchange, Taylor said the driver "just started wailing on me" and later "beats the sh** out of me!"

Another crucial detail emerged in the report: "TAYLOR took two side steps into RITCHSON's path and blocked his travel, causing RITCHSON to go from approximately 17mph to zero almost instantly." This sudden braking caused Ritchson to crash and apparently go over his motorcycle handlebars.

Aftermath and Threats

Ritchson sustained minor injuries himself, including an abrasion on his right elbow and jammed thumbs, but stated he did not require medical attention. Taylor refused medical treatment at the scene.

In a disturbing development following the incident, Taylor claims he has been bombarded with abuse and threats from furious fans, telling TMZ he's received more than 100 chilling messages. These included one caller who allegedly said he "couldn't wait" to see him gasping for air through a tube, another who threatened to put him in a wheelchair, and texts simply reading "Die, die, die."

Taylor said he sought informal advice from a police officer about these threats but has dismissed the abuse as trolling and has not filed a formal complaint. He has also revealed he has no intention of taking legal action against Ritchson, insisting he never wanted to escalate the situation further.
