Walkers has officially relaunched two popular flavours from its collaboration with KFC: Walkers MAX KFC Original Chicken and Walkers MAX KFC Zinger crisps. The Original Chicken variety is joining the permanent line-up, while the Zinger flavour is back for a limited period only.
Five years after debut
The range originally launched in 2021 and quickly gained a devoted following. The Original Chicken crisps replicate the taste of KFC's blend of 11 herbs and spices, while the Zinger delivers a spicy and zesty kick reminiscent of the iconic burger.
The crisps have now hit shelves at supermarkets including Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco. Instagram account @newfoodsuk posted a photo of the crisps spotted at Morrisons, captioning it: "KFC crisps are back!"
Fan reactions
Fans were devastated when the crisps originally vanished from shelves. One user posted on X: "I would genuinely rank them among one of the best flavours ever." TikToker @soulfula5 declared that the Walkers MAX KFC Zinger crisps were "the best thing the UK ever made... and they just discontinued it like it was nothing." Another fan on Instagram said: "I remember buying the big bag of six from Sainsbury's when they came out. Damn they were nice." Responding to the relaunch, one fan commented: "Greatest news ever."
Pricing
The crisps are priced between £1.50 and £2.50 for a sharing bag.
