Molly-Mae Hague Addresses Concerns Over Tommy Fury's Fight Date Near Her Due Date

Pregnant Molly-Mae Hague has reassured fans she is “feeling really good” about fiancé Tommy Fury’s boxing match scheduled just days before she is due to give birth to their second child. The couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, already have a three-year-old daughter, Bambi, and are expecting another baby in June.

Tommy Fury is set to face Eddie Hall at Manchester’s AO Arena on June 13, a date that has raised eyebrows given its proximity to Molly-Mae’s due date. In a YouTube Q&A, the influencer explained that the timing works better than it appears, as she plans to give birth in London, where she previously delivered Bambi at The Portland hospital.

“There's actually a good amount of time between my birth, my supposed birth,” she said, adding that she is not worried and is “really, really happy” that Tommy has a fight after more than a year out of the ring. She noted that having a focus and something to look forward to is a positive thing, and that Tommy will be able to support her when she gets home.

Molly-Mae acknowledged that her first experience of motherhood was far more difficult, describing the intense circumstances surrounding Tommy’s high-profile bout with Jake Paul. At that time, she had just given birth and was left largely on her own while Tommy travelled for training. “It was just mental and obviously it was our first baby. I just given birth and he was literally going to Saudi and it was really hard,” she recalled.

However, she is confident things will be different this time around. “This time round it's not going to be anything like that. He will be at home. He will be living at home. He will be having his camp at home. We're actually feeling really, really good about it,” she said. Molly-Mae previously described feeling “traumatised” during the first few weeks of Bambi’s life, having done it largely alone, but now says the couple are in a “really, really great place.”
