The Pitt, one of HBO's most talked-about new dramas, will finally be available to UK viewers with the launch of HBO Max on 26 March. The first season will be released in its entirety on that date, followed by weekly episodes of the second season.
Set in the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, the series follows senior attending physician Dr Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, played by ER star Noah Wyle, and an ensemble cast of residents, interns and medical students. The first season unfolds over a single 15-hour shift, revealing the harsh realities of modern American healthcare.
Season two jumps forward ten months to 4 July. Robby is preparing for a three-month sabbatical and meets his replacement, but an unexpected cyber-shutdown forces the team to adapt as they are also adjusting to new AI integration.
The cast includes Noah Wyle alongside a number of returning actors, with several newcomers joining in recurring roles for the second season. Specific names for new cast members have not yet been confirmed.
UK viewers will be able to stream all 15 episodes of season one from 26 March via HBO Max, with season two episodes released weekly thereafter.
