Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Docuseries Release Dates Brought Forward
Swift's Eras Tour Docuseries Gets Major Schedule Change

Taylor Swift has announced a significant change to the release schedule for the concluding episodes of her highly anticipated Eras Tour documentary series. The global superstar took to social media to reveal that the final instalments will now land on streaming platforms earlier than originally planned.

New Release Dates for Swift's Epic Documentary

The six-part documentary series, titled Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, premiered on Disney+ on 12 December 2025 with its first two episodes. Fans have already been treated to behind-the-scenes access, but Swift herself confirmed that episodes three and four arrived on Friday 19 December. In a major shift, the final two episodes will now be released on 23 December, a full three days ahead of the original date of 26 December. For viewers in the United Kingdom, each new episode becomes available at 8am GMT.

Inside the Record-Breaking Eras Tour

The docuseries offers an unprecedented look at the planning, rehearsals, and production of Swift's monumental Eras Tour. The tour itself is a historic feat, having grossed more than $2 billion and setting a new record for the most stadium shows performed by a female artist. The series culminates in a full, feature-length recording of the tour's final performance.

Beyond the spectacle, the documentary includes appearances from famous collaborators like Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as intimate moments with Swift's fiancé, Travis Kelce. At a private screening in New York, Swift reflected on the project, stating it represented years of work and expressed deep gratitude to the dancers, musicians, and technical crews.

A Cinematic Chapter Closes

This documentary lands shortly after the release of Swift's latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which secured her 14th UK number-one album and her biggest opening week in the country to date. It is not, however, her first cinematic venture related to the Eras Tour. In 2023, The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) became the highest-grossing concert film of all time following its global cinema release.

Critical reception for the new album has been mixed, but the documentary is poised to be a must-watch event for fans. Swift described the tour on Instagram as a "defining moment," writing: "It was the end of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to hold on to every second... so we invited filmmakers to document the tour and the stories threaded through it."

Where to Watch: The entire Taylor Swift: The End of an Era series is streaming exclusively on Disney+. A subscription starts from £5.99 per month for the ad-supported tier, with annual options available for the standard and premium packages.
