Taylor Swift has announced a schedule change for the final episodes of her six-part documentary series covering the Eras Tour. The last two episodes, originally set to premiere on 26 December, will now be released on 23 December, with UK viewers able to watch from 8am.
The series, which premiered on Disney+ with its first two episodes on 12 December, documents the planning, rehearsals and production of the tour, which grossed more than $2bn and set a record for the most stadium shows by a female artist. Episodes three and four were released today, 19 December. The documentary concludes with a full recording of the final performance.
Featuring appearances from collaborators including Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as Swift’s fiancé Travis Kelce, the series was announced by Swift on Instagram. She described the tour as “the end of an Era” and said the filmmakers had captured “the most intense and meaningful chapter of our lives”. Speaking at a New York screening, she expressed gratitude to the dancers, musicians and technical teams.
This is not Swift’s first cinematic treatment of the tour. In 2023, The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) became the highest-grossing concert film of all time. The new documentary follows the release of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, which became her 14th UK number-one album. Critical response has been mixed: The Guardian gave it two stars, while The Independent awarded four.
The series is available on Disney+, with subscriptions starting at £5.99 per month for the ad-supported tier. The standard and premium tiers offer annual payment options at £99.90 and £149.90 respectively.
