Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has marked her parents' 42nd wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post, as her father Mark continues cancer treatment. The 34-year-old dancer shared a photo on Tuesday of herself with parents Rina and Mark, taken during her recent trip to Australia.
In the caption, Buswell wrote: 'Happy 42nd wedding anniversary mum and dad ❤️ you are the best parents and grandparents to all us kids we all love you very much !' The selfie showed the three smiling on a beach at sunset.
Buswell returned to Australia with her boyfriend Joe Sugg for Christmas to spend the festive season with her family, particularly her father who is undergoing chemotherapy. She recently shared a video from the hospital, praising her father for his 'positive mind frame' as he began his third round of treatment.
Her Strictly co-star Amy Dowden, who is also battling breast cancer, commented: 'Cmon mark you got this! Love you both.' Buswell had flown home just days after competing in the 2023 Strictly final with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier.
In a recent interview, Buswell spoke about the emotional challenges of being away from her family and how Brazier supported her through the difficult period, describing him as 'really realistic and supportive'.
