Woman Dies After Fall at Robbie Williams Sydney Concert

A woman in her 70s has died after falling at a Robbie Williams concert in Sydney last Thursday. The incident occurred at Allianz Stadium after the show had ended, as fans were leaving the venue.

The woman fell six rows of seats and suffered serious head injuries. She was taken to hospital and placed in an induced coma, but died on Tuesday, medical authorities confirmed.

A stadium spokesman said the woman attempted to step over seating rows instead of using stairs, lost her footing and fell. 'This is a terribly sad incident and our thoughts and wishes are with the patron and their family,' the spokesman said.

The British singer has not commented on the incident, which happened on the first night of his Australian XXV tour. About 40,000 fans attended the show on 16 November.

The death comes after a 23-year-old fan died at a Taylor Swift concert in Rio de Janeiro last Friday. Ana Clara Benevides Machado collapsed in the heat and died of a cardiac arrest. Her family is seeking answers after reports that water was banned from the venue.
