Ronan Keating Reunites Boyzone for New Year's Eve BBC Special

Irish singer Ronan Keating will reunite with former Boyzone bandmates for a 90s-themed New Year's Eve special on BBC One. The 48-year-old presenter, best known as part of the pop group behind hits like 'Love Me For A Reason' and 'Words', will be joined by Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch for a special performance.

The special, titled 'Ronan & Friends: A New Year's Eve Party', comes ahead of the full band's one-off stadium show next year, their first since a five-night run at the London Palladium in 2019. Boyzone, formed in 1993, also includes Mikey Graham and the late Stephen Gately, and achieved six UK number one singles and five UK number one albums.

Keating's solo career, featuring hits like 'When You Say Nothing At All' and 'Life Is A Rollercoaster', will also be celebrated. He will be joined by Louise Redknapp, formerly of Eternal, known for songs 'Naked' and 'Arms Around the World', and singer-songwriter Calum Scott, famous for 'You Are The Reason'.

The line-up is completed by former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, who recently finished third on ITV's 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here', adding theatrical flair to the evening. The broadcast will include London's firework display and further performances to welcome 2026.

'Ronan & Friends: A New Year's Eve Party' airs on December 31 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
