Liam Gallagher has confirmed that Oasis will not tour again until 2027 at the earliest, ruling out any live dates for 2026. Responding to fan queries on social media, the frontman stated: 'We’re not doing anything in 2026 sorry.' When asked about a potential Knebworth show next year, he added: 'Nothing going on next year except the WC (World Cup).'
Gallagher also dismissed speculation that the band are odds-on to play Knebworth in 2025, writing: 'ITS NOT HAPPENING.' Joking about the timeline, he said: 'I don’t [have] snizzle to do until 2027 I mean happy Christmas.'
The news comes after Oasis completed their 41-date 'Live '25' reunion tour in Brazil on November 24. The tour began in Cardiff on July 4 and included five homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park, seven at Wembley Stadium, and gigs across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
In a statement, the band announced a 'pause for a period of reflection,' quoting a damning article describing them as 'the most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history.' Despite this, rumours of further dates and new music have persisted, with Liam teasing fans on X: 'I know things you don’t know.'
Earlier this year, a British peer accidentally appeared to reveal that Oasis would play Knebworth in July 2025, marking 30 years since their iconic 1996 shows. However, Lady Taylor of Stevenage later backtracked, saying she was 'speaking hypothetically.' A new film documenting the reunion tour, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, has been confirmed.
