Netflix to Document One Direction Reunion with Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson

Netflix is set to release a documentary series featuring One Direction members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, marking their first major collaboration since the band's hiatus. The three-part series will follow the former bandmates on a 'spontaneous adventure' across the United States, offering a rare glimpse into their personal lives and friendship.

Directed by Nicola Marsh, known for her work on Netflix's 'Song Exploder', the series is produced by Campfire Studios. A press release states that Malik and Tomlinson will be 'opening up about life, love, loss and friendship'. The project comes after Tomlinson made a surprise appearance at Malik's Los Angeles show in January, their first public reunion since the funeral of bandmate Liam Payne in November 2024.

Both artists have announced new music and tours. Tomlinson's third studio album, 'How Did I Get Here?', is due for release on January 23, 2026, with a supporting arena tour across the UK and Europe starting in March. Malik has confirmed a Las Vegas residency for January 2026 at the Dolby Live at Park MGM, his second solo tour since leaving One Direction in 2015.
