The new hosts of the Love Island vodcast have been officially announced, with Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart stepping down. Toni Laites, Shakira Khan, and Yasmin Pettet will take over the reins of the freshly rebranded Love Island: The Debrief.
New Presenters for the Vodcast
These three familiar faces captured the nation's attention last summer, winning over viewers with their camaraderie and loyalty on Love Island. Now, they will steer the discussion as presenters of the nightly companion show on ITV2 and ITVX. The trio will dissect all the compelling developments from within the world's most renowned villa.
Rise to Fame
Having rocketed to fame during what became Love Island's most-watched final week since 2022, the so-called "holy trinity" achieved international recognition. They launched their post-Love Island trajectories with an editorial feature in fashion publication i-D, attracting attention from global celebrities such as Cara Delevingne and Charli XCX.
Vodcast Popularity
The Love Island vodcast has become essential viewing and listening for fans of the franchise, accumulating nearly four million streams across platforms. Weekly, the new presenters will analyse the developments throughout the series. To date, Love Island has amassed over two billion streams on ITVX.
In a collective statement, the trio declared: "Love Island brought us together so this is very much a full circle moment. Talking together is what we do best and none of us are short on opinions so we're ready to make this a reunion to remember!"
ITV's Excitement
Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor for Entertainment and Reality at ITV, stated: "Love Island's 'Big Three' played a significant part in the show's success last Summer, so to reunite the trio as hosts of our revamped vodcast is a very exciting proposition. Once again the show will be first with all of the post show opinions, and in our new slot on ITV2, there are more ways than ever for our audience to engage."
Mike Spencer-Hayter, Director of Unscripted for Lifted Entertainment, remarked: "Toni, Shakira and Yasmin's friendship captured the hearts of the Love Island fans in 2025 and we're delighted to welcome them back to the Love Island family to host The Debrief. All of the girls are unfiltered, funny and love a gossip, which makes them perfect choices for the vodcast. It certainly will be a show you won't want to miss."
