Lily Allen Celebrates Tour Success with Night Out in Los Angeles
Lily Allen Parties in LA After Tour Shows

Lily Allen let her hair down with friends over the weekend as she celebrated completing two consecutive successful tour shows at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. The 40-year-old singer has nearly finished the first leg of her West End Girl tour, performing songs from her smash-hit comeback album inspired by her turbulent split from husband David Harbour.

Night of Party and Celebrity Encounters

After receiving rave reviews for her LA performances, Lily enjoyed a night of partying with friends including Daniel Nguyen and songwriter Chloe Angelides, who helped write songs on the album. The group appeared in high spirits as they posed for snaps with reality star Lisa Rinna, who made a cameo during the show to play the infamous 'Madeleine'.

Lily also stopped by West Hollywood LGBTQ bar and nightclub The Abbey to watch Madonna's surprise Confession II performance on Saturday. She was spotted having the time of her life in the crowd alongside Addison Rae, Julia Fox, Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari, and Tori Spelling.

In-N-Out Dinner Brings Back Memories

The pop star continued the fun the following night, with pal Daniel documenting their late-night dinner at In-N-Out. The fast-food chain was famously the site of Lily's wedding reception with ex-husband David, 51, after the pair tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2020. They exchanged vows with an Elvis Presley impersonator officiating, before celebrating with dinner at In-N-Out alongside her two daughters, Ethel and Marnie.

At the time, David shared photos of them enjoying their burgers with the caption: 'In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people's princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic. Refreshments were served at a small reception following.'

Split and Album Inspiration

Lily and David split in December 2024 after she allegedly discovered his cheating, with her documenting the turbulent end of the romance in West End Girl. The lyrics suggest the couple had an open arrangement regarding sex, as long as it was discreet, with paid strangers and no emotional connection—rules the Stranger Things actor appeared to flout.

In her most talked-about track, titled 'Madeline', she directly addresses David's infidelity with a mystery woman, giving her a fictional moniker. The chorus reads: 'We had an arrangement/ Be discrete and don't be blatant. There had to be payment/ It had to be with strangers/ But you're not a stranger, Madeline'.

The song also features spoken interludes from Madeline, who insists over text: 'Our relationship has only ever been about sex... I hate that you're in so much pain right now... He told me you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent.'

The Daily Mail revealed that the woman behind the pseudonym is costume designer Natalie Tippett, who reportedly met David while filming the Netflix movie We Have A Ghost in 2021. Their affair began shortly after shooting started, only a year after David and Lily married.

Lily uncovered the infidelity when she discovered his profile on celebrity dating app Raya and 'joined the dots'. She joined the app herself, pretending to be 'looking for women', and allegedly found that her ex-husband had set up a dating profile.

Speaking to The Times in October, Lily confirmed that 'agreed-upon boundaries were not adhered to' in her relationship, addressing how apps have made cheating easier. She said: 'There are usually agreed-upon boundaries in relationships. But whether those boundaries are adhered to or not is becoming a grey area all of a sudden. Dating apps make people disposable.'

Ten months before the release of West End Girl, it was revealed that the split drove Lily to seek professional help. The Mail on Sunday reported that her mental health deteriorated after returning from holiday to her marital home in New York in January. A source said: 'It was very painful for Lily to return home. David used to be her saviour and now he's a trigger for her... She settled her kids back into the family home and took them to school, then flew herself straight to rehab.' She spent several weeks at a residential retreat in the US, participating in intensive group counselling and one-on-one therapy.
