Leigh-Anne Pinnock has said her former record label Warner Records ghosted her before she parted ways with them in 2025. The singer, who rose to fame as a member of Little Mix, described the experience as making her feel 'disposable'.
Speaking about her upcoming solo album 'My Ego Told Me To', Pinnock revealed that the label kept asking for new versions of a song called 'Most Wanted', which features Jamaican artists Valiant and Rvssian. 'They just kept making me do versions and it was taking the essence out of the song,' she said. 'I hadn't had a single out in a year and was getting really worried… and then all of a sudden they're ghosting us, and nothing's moving forward.'
Pinnock, 33, reflected on her journey from shy teenager to confident pop star. She recalled being heckled during a youth group performance at the Wycombe Swan theatre. 'A girl in the audience just went: dead!' she said. The incident stayed with her as she navigated the music industry.
Little Mix went on indefinite hiatus in 2022, two years after Jesy Nelson left the group. Since then, all four members have pursued solo projects. Pinnock is the third to release a full-length album, following Nelson and Perrie Edwards.
