Laura Whitmore has given birth to her second child with husband and Love Island star Iain Stirling, describing the experience as 'dramatic'. The journalist and presenter took to social media to share the news, joking that 'a new player has entered the game'.
Details of the Birth
Whitmore revealed that the baby arrived unexpectedly early and with dramatic flair. She wrote: 'We welcomed the most precious baby last month, unexpectedly early and with dramatic flair (wouldn’t expect anything else).' She also mentioned creating a five-hour birthing playlist, but only three songs were played before the birth. 'It’s a reaaally good playlist, can somebody please use it,' she added, noting that she has been enjoying 'baby smells, lack of sleep and scrumptious hands and wrists.'
Father's Reaction
Iain Stirling also shared his joy on social media, writing: 'Say hello to our newest living legend. I always wanted someone in the house who would stay up late and watch the World Cup with me. But this feels a little excessive.' The couple, who married in 2020, are already parents to a daughter born in 2021.
