Newly-engaged Kym Marsh showcased her sparkling ring on Wednesday as news broke that she is set to marry for the fourth time. The former Coronation Street actress, 49, accepted fiancé Tom Dickinson's proposal last month during a birthday trip to Paris, where he got down on one knee.
Kym was all smiles as she left The Playhouse theatre in Liverpool, proudly wearing her new jewellery. She dressed casually in an oversized T-shirt, wide-legged jeans, and a leather jacket. Kym is currently starring in a stage adaptation of the 90s psychological thriller A Single White Female, which opened in January at Brighton's Theatre Royal and will tour the UK and Ireland until 13 June.
It was reported in October that she had found love again with a fitness fanatic named Tom, after the pair were introduced through friends. She later confirmed their romance by sharing photos on Instagram and tagging his account. Tom reportedly proposed romantically by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and Kym is said to be 'on cloud nine' after saying yes 'immediately'.
A source told The Sun: 'Their romance has been like a fairytale. Tom had planned the perfect proposal and got down on one knee next to the Eiffel Tower. Kym was overcome, but she said yes immediately. She has the most beautiful ring and can’t wait to plan their special day.'
This will be Kym's fourth marriage, following previous weddings to army major Scott Ratcliff, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, and EastEnders star Jack Ryder. Prior to Tom, Kym ended her romance with ex Samuel Thomas before Christmas in 2024, after the pair finished touring with 101 Dalmatians: The Musical. She had defended her relationship with Samuel, who is the same age as her oldest son, calling him her 'soulmate'. Amid their breakup, sources said that once the tour ended, she found it harder to spend time with him.
Kym shares son David, 30, and daughter Emilie, 28, with ex David Cunliffe. She is also mother to 14-year-old Poppy with ex-husband Jamie Lomas, and son Archie, who was born 18 weeks premature in 2009 and passed away shortly after birth. Kym and Jamie first met on a train in 2007 and developed a romance in July 2008, a year before Kym's divorce from Jack Ryder.
