Kylie Jenner has opened up about her aspirations for a pop music career, acknowledging she is not 'Adele or anything' as she features on the new single 'Fourth Strike' by duo Terror Jr. The 28-year-old beauty mogul, credited as King Kylie, said in a YouTube interview that making music has been a lifelong dream she never had the confidence to pursue.
'I'm going to be 30 soon and I just don't want to look back on life and have any regrets,' Jenner said, adding with a laugh: 'But, you know, I don't think I'm like Adele or anything.' She expressed hope to release more music and possibly an album, saying, 'I think we should try.'
The song, which continues Terror Jr's track 'Three Strikes' from a Kylie Cosmetics campaign nearly a decade ago, has drawn harsh criticism on social media. Fans described it as 'embarrassing' and advised Jenner to 'stick to the lip kits.' One wrote: 'Oh great, just what the world needed – Kylie Jenner thinking she's a pop star now.'
Jenner celebrated the release on Instagram with studio photos and a video of her seven-year-old daughter Stormi singing along. She addressed a long-standing rumour that she was the uncredited vocalist on 'Three Strikes,' clarifying it was not her, and expressed nerves and gratitude for the collaboration.
