Judge Jules to headline final Bents Park Live show

The final Bents Park Live Sunday concert of the year takes place on Sunday, August 2, with Radio 1 and Ibiza legend Judge Jules and his live band headlining. A huge crowd is expected at the South Shields seaside venue for the last show of the summer series.

Support on the bill comes from dance acts Sweet Female Attitude, known for 'Flowers', Phats & Small, the team behind 'Turn Around', and Ultrabeat, who are responsible for anthems such as 'Pretty Green Eyes' and 'Feelin' Fine'.

Ticketed event draws big crowds

There has been a big change to how things work this year, as the weekly shows are no longer free entry and everyone needs a ticket to get in. Any fears that the fee would put people off were quickly quashed when the first Sunday concert, a Pride in South Tyneside special featuring Joe McElderry, 911 and more, pulled in huge numbers.

The season started on July 20 with a scorching day that called for sun cream. A week later, conditions were very different, with umbrellas and ponchos required as ABC's headline set was moved slightly forward so fans did not have to stand in the rain for longer than necessary. Despite the weather, a good time was still had by all.

Stage times and ticket availability

Tickets are still available, either online or in person from The Word in South Shields, after more were released a few days ago. The full stage times for Sunday are:
