Fans quickly interpreted the message as a hint that he and brother Noel have reconciled, with one responding: 'I would bet that you finally talked to each other in person after his final gig from the night before.' Another said: 'Stop teasing we already know Oasis is back next year.'
The speculation follows a Reddit post on August 5 claiming that Oasis would reform for a show at Wembley Stadium, with an announcement expected within weeks. Some users suggested further dates at Heaton Park and Murrayfield Stadium had been provisionally booked, though scepticism remained.
Noel Gallagher recently concluded his own tour with a headline set at Y Not Festival in Derbyshire.
