Jesse Wood, the 49-year-old musician and son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood, has told a court he is living on barely £1,000 a month and struggling to find work following his split from TV presenter Fearne Cotton. The couple separated in December 2024 after 10 years of marriage.
Wood appeared at a London magistrates' court on speeding charges after being caught driving at 27mph in a 20mph zone on Cromwell Road in April 2024. The court heard it was his fourth speeding offence, and he already had nine penalty points on his licence.
Representing himself, Wood said: 'I was due to be employed in 2024 but it got delayed. At the moment I'm living off my savings and I am looking to get employment.' He apologised for his actions, stating: 'I would like to say I accept responsibility for what I have done.'
Magistrate Richard Sanden handed Wood a six-month driving ban and added three penalty points to his licence. He was fined £89, reduced from £134 for an early guilty plea, plus a £36 surcharge and £130 in costs.
Wood shares two children with Cotton, Rex and Honey, and has two older children from a previous relationship. He is now dating former Made In Chelsea star Gemma Gregory, while Cotton is in a relationship with Rivals director Elliot Hegarty.
