Geordie Shore star Scotty T has made a dramatic return in a new trailer for the upcoming series, six years after being axed from the show. The 36-year-old, real name Scott Robert Timlin, was issued a stark warning from MTV bosses to not 'ruin it' following his past behaviour.
Scotty was booted from the show in 2018 after being pictured 'snorting a suspicious substance'. The new trailer shows him partying in Thailand for Kyle's stag do, where he is seen locking lips with co-star Abbie Holborn and flashing his abs in a shirtless beach scene.
The trailer also teases a feud between Marnie Simpson, 32, and Sophie Kasaei, 35, when Marnie makes a late entrance. Show bosses shared the clip on Instagram, captioning it: 'The Geordies are BACK to celebrate @kylecgshore's stag party in Thailand - and there might just be a few surprises along the way.'
Insiders told The Sun that Scotty had been in talks for weeks and is now set to rejoin the cast. A source said: 'He really missed the show and knows it was his own fault he had to leave. The cast all still love him so they’re so happy he’s set to return.' The source added that bosses have warned him this is his 'last chance'.
Scotty first joined Geordie Shore in 2012 and was a regular until 2018. He returned for several series in 2022 but was previously axed after the substance incident. The new series airs on Paramount Plus on January 7.
