Oasis fans have unearthed a major clue that Liam Gallagher hinted at the band’s reunion as early as July, 15 years after Oasis split. The resurfaced post on X, from the day of the tour photo shoot, shows the 51-year-old teasing: “There’s a few big things happening, but I can’t tell you as they’re so big it’s gonna blow your minds, and I’ve been sworn to secrecy.”
When a fan asked him what his plans were that day, Liam casually replied “photo shoot”, unknowingly revealing the monumental comeback. The Gallaghers officially announced their reconciliation and reunion on Tuesday morning, with a £50million stadium tour scheduled for summer 2025, including four nights at Wembley Stadium.
The Oasis Live 25 tour will kick off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium and visit Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July and August. Reports suggest former Oasis guitarist Bonehead will join the brothers on stage.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday, with ballot registration already open. Insiders predict shows will sell out in under three minutes, with extra dates likely to be added. The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement as fans scrambled for news.
The reunion marks the end of a 15-year feud that began when Noel quit the band on August 28, 2009, following a backstage brawl in Paris. The brothers are believed to have reconciled during a late-night phone call last month, followed by a joint photoshoot in London.
