A couple have been left in stitches after discovering their foster dog's strong musical preference — or rather, her distinct dislike for one band. The amusing incident has since gone viral on TikTok, racking up over two million views.
Isabel Klee, who shares her life with fiancé and foster dog Whimsy on the platform, posted a video revealing that while Whimsy enjoys being sung to, she 'distinctly hated' when her fiancé sang songs by Creed. The footage showed the pup trying to hide in Isabel's arms as the man performed the 1999 hit 'With Arms Wide Open'.
To test Whimsy's taste, the couple had him sing other tunes, including Blink-182's 'Miss You' and 'Bennie and the Jets' by Elton John, both of which prompted enthusiastic tail-wagging and playful dashes toward the singer. But when he returned to Creed, Whimsy immediately snuggled closer to Isabel, seemingly begging for the music to stop.
Viewers were quick to offer theories, with some suggesting Whimsy's preference might be due to the absence of her name in the Creed lyrics, or the lower pitch of the singer's voice.
