Ferne McCann has spoken about feeling able to 'breathe again' after a period of being 'stuck in a rut', as the reality star returns for a tenth series of ITVX's First Time Mum. In an exclusive clip, the 32-year-old is seen visiting a temple in India with fiancé Lorri Haines, where she opens up about rediscovering her spiritual side.
'I can just feel the energy and the spirituality as soon as I'm walking up to the temple, it feels really powerful,' she says in the clip. 'I have prayed so hard throughout this whole period of my life. Really holding onto my faith, because if you haven't got faith then you've got f**kall.'
The former Towie star, who is expecting her second child with Lorri, adds: 'I felt so stuck in a rut, I didn't feel like myself at all. Whereas now, being here, I feel like I can breathe again. I kind of feel like this trip has saved me a little bit.'
McCann's comments come after she broke down on This Morning last week, apologising again for a leaked voice note in which she called a victim of her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins 'ugly'. Collins is serving a 20-year sentence for an acid attack in 2017. McCann said the note was from 'a very vulnerable time' and that she has since 'done a lot of work' in therapy.
The new series of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum airs on ITVBe and ITVX from 15 March at 9pm.
