Ed Sheeran has given fans a glimpse of his upcoming music video for 'A Little More', which features Rupert Grint reprising his role as the singer's stalker from the 2011 'Lego House' video. The teaser, shared on Instagram, shows the Harry Potter actor emerging from prison, looking worse for wear, 14 years after his original appearance.
In the new clip, Grint walks out of prison doors, followed by flashbacks to the 'Lego House' video, where he portrayed an obsessive fan who eventually gets tackled by security. The video ends with the words 'A Little More' and a release date of 7 August.
Sheeran described the project as 'utterly bonkers' and 'a very upbeat, fun, but angry song'. He wrote on Instagram: '4 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully Rupert was up for it.'
Fans reacted with excitement, with one commenting: 'Omg he was in prison all these years.' Another said: 'Lego House is one of my favourites, super excited for a little more!!!' The original 'Lego House' video was released in November 2011 as the third single from Sheeran's debut album '+'.
'A Little More' is taken from Sheeran's upcoming album 'Play', which also includes tracks such as 'Azizam', 'Old Phone', and 'Sapphire'. The full music video is set to premiere on Thursday.
