Disney On Ice Returns to UK with New Show and Surprises

Disney On Ice is set to return to the United Kingdom this winter with an all-new production. The show, titled Disney On Ice presents Discover The Magic, will glide across ice rinks from October 2026 through January 2027, visiting major cities including Birmingham, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, London, and others.

What to Expect from the New Show

This spectacular event will feature world-class skating, aerial performances, and beloved Disney stories brought to life through intricate choreography. Audiences will witness stories from characters such as Moana, Coco, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell, Miguel, Anna and Elsa, Woody and Jessie, and many more. Highlights include excerpts from Frozen, Encanto, and Toy Story, all described as “packed with music, movement and larger-than-life production.” Additionally, the mischievous alien Stitch will add “mischievous surprises” to the experience.

Behind the Scenes

The production involves over 100 skilled artisans and features more than 173 dazzling costumes. Thousands of yards of fabric are used, and each character is adorned with hundreds of thousands of hand-set Swarovski crystals. The sets weigh over 12,000 pounds, including a 1,000-pound staircase shaped like stilettos.

While no reviews exist for the new show yet, past Disney On Ice events have received praise. Frugal Mum noted: “The Frozen display was the best part of the show… it was really magical!” Mums The Nerd added: “It was amazing, I’d recommend everyone to go and see a Disney on Ice show at least once.” However, some TrustPilot reviews mentioned that merchandise can be pricey.

For those seeking other Disney experiences, the Disney Worlds Collide Concert Tour will visit UK venues in February 2027, featuring music from Descendants, ZOMBIES, and Camp Rock performed by the original actors.
