Big Thief frontwoman Adrianne Lenker has announced a new live album, 'Live at Revolution Hall', a 43-track collection set for release on April 24. The album captures performances recorded over three days in June 2024 at Portland's Revolution Hall, featuring fan favourites, deep cuts, and unreleased gems from Lenker's catalogue.
The album was recorded by engineer Andrew Sarlo, a longtime collaborator of Lenker and Big Thief. It includes a previously unreleased track, 'Happiness', which has been shared as a preview. Lenker described the album as capturing the spirit of her 'Bright Future' tour shows, with guest appearances from Nick Hakim, Josefin Runsteen, and her brother Noah Lenker.
In a social media post, Lenker said the album offers listeners a chance to experience the feeling of being at one of her shows, featuring old and new songs, on-stage and backstage performances, and other surprises. The tracklist includes titles such as 'Vampire Empire', 'Spud Infinity', and 'Anything'.
Lenker's last solo album was 2024's 'Bright Future', which NME awarded four stars, praising its reflection of life's twists and turns as a soundtrack for long journeys.
