Hundreds of dance music fans packed Keel Square in Sunderland as legendary DJ and producer Armand Van Helden headlined the Saturday of One Big Summer, delivering an August Bank Holiday celebration.
House anthems and club classics
One of the most influential figures in electronic music, Armand Van Helden performed a standout headline set featuring the house anthems and club classics that have made him a global icon. Fans travelled from across the region to see the internationally renowned artist perform.
Supporting acts and festival atmosphere
The festival also featured sets from some of the biggest names in house music, including SOSA and Sidney Charles, alongside a supporting line-up that kept the crowds dancing from start to finish. The event transformed Keel Square into a vibrant open-air music venue.
Summer programme continues
The festival was another landmark event in Sunderland's packed summer programme, bringing visitors into the city and delivering a memorable Bank Holiday experience. One Big Summer events continue through until September.
