David Beckham was seen looking glum during a family day out in Hollywood on Sunday, despite his multi-million pound empire. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, 42, was photographed with his children Romeo, 14, Brooklyn, 18, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six, but wife Victoria was absent from the outing.
The ex-England captain shielded himself from the sun in a white fedora and Ray-Ban Wayfarers, waiting for his car after a family meal. The sighting comes amid rumours that David and Victoria are 'leading separate lives', with claims that his love of partying is driving a wedge between them.
However, a family friend dismissed the speculation as 'ridiculous', telling MailOnline that the couple were spotted cruising in their £200,000 Bentley SUV the day before, putting on a united front. The friend added that their new Oxfordshire home, created from three barns, does not have separate living quarters for the couple.
David opted for a simple ensemble of a crew-neck T-shirt and fitted blue jeans, accessorised with a chunky silver watch. His sons also showcased their style, with Romeo in shorts and a backwards pink baseball cap, Brooklyn in a grunge-inspired outfit, and Cruz in a grey fedora and matching chino shorts.
The Beckhams celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary just three weeks ago, with David paying tribute to Victoria as 'an amazing wife, mummy and strong businesswoman'.
