Heavy rain and grey skies did not dampen the spirits of fans gathered for an open-air party at Bents Park in South Shields. Staff cleared water from the stage as the rain-soaked crowd awaited performances from this year's Bents Park Live lineup.
Pop legends take the stage
Pop legends ABC, known for hits including 'The Look of Love' and 'Poison Arrow', headlined on Sunday. The day also featured performances from 'The One and Only' singer Chesney Hawkes and 80s synth-pop band Nuromantica.
