Nintendo's live-action The Legend of Zelda film has revealed more cast members, including the late Sam Neill in a posthumous appearance and Australian actor Uli Latukefu as the villain Ganondorf.
The film, directed by Wes Ball, stars Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason as Link and Zelda. Filming wrapped in April, with a cinematic release set for April 30, 2027.

According to Deadline, Sam Neill, who died last month at 78, will appear in the movie in one of his final screen performances. His role is undisclosed, but speculation points to the King of Hyrule or a voice role like The Great Deku Tree.
Uli Latukefu, known for Netflix's Marco Polo and Young Rock, is set to play Ganondorf. He has reportedly signed a multi-picture deal, though a sequel depends on the film's box office success.

Dichen Lachman from Severance will play Impa, a character depicted as younger in earlier Zelda games like Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. Yvonne Strahovski, of The Handmaid's Tale and Dexter, joins in an unknown role.
