NBA 2K26 heads the lineup for this weekend's Xbox Free Play Days, offering five games at no cost. Four of these are accessible to all Xbox users, while one requires an Xbox Game Pass membership.
Free Games for Everyone
Starting Thursday, August 6, three titles went live, with the rest following on Friday. Among the free-for-all games are two Tom Clancy titles from Ubisoft: Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Wildlands, set in an open-world Bolivia, includes a new "tense and unsettling" mission in its Last Rites update. Breakpoint, released in 2019, is a narrative sequel set on the fictional Pacific islands of Auroa, emphasizing survival.
Game Pass Exclusive and More
Game Pass members can also enjoy Sports Renovations, a story-driven simulator about restoring old sports facilities. Additionally, Wax Heads, a cozy narrative sim about managing a struggling record store, is available as a two-hour timed trial for all Xbox members.
Availability and Dates
Sports Renovations, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint are free until Sunday, August 9. NBA 2K26 is available until August 14, offering a preview ahead of NBA 2K27's release on September 4.
