Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try three games for free this weekend as part of the Xbox Free Play Days initiative. The titles became available on Thursday, August 20, and remain playable until Sunday, August 23.
All three games are accessible to members of any Game Pass tier, offering a variety of gaming experiences across different genres.
Train Sim World 6 and the Devon Riviera Line
The lineup includes Train Sim World 6: Standard Edition, which features three train routes, among them the Riviera Line in Devon and the Leipzig-Dresden line in Germany. Players can operate trains such as the Great Western Railway Class 802 and Class 150/2.
The simulation title has earned praise from Steam gamers, particularly for its detailed mechanical accuracy.
Icarus: A Survival Redemption Story
Also available is Icarus: Console Edition, developed by DayZ creator Dean Hall. Set on a hostile planet, the game tasks players with surviving a failed terraforming operation by building shelter, crafting, and exploring.
Players face deadly wildlife and extreme weather in an "uncompromising" PvE survival experience. After a rocky launch that drew widespread criticism, years of patches have turned Icarus into a fan favourite. It supports solo play or co-op with up to four players, and is 30% off this weekend, including all DLC.
Lynked: Banner of the Spark Completes the Roster
The final title is Lynked: Banner of the Spark, a roguelite, RPG, and life simulation crossover. Players battle swarms of robot enemies and tough bosses, using defeated parts and resources to expand and upgrade their home bases.
Described as a blend of Hades and Stardew Valley, it combines action RPG combat with community building.
