Daniel Craig reprises his role as MI6 agent James Bond, who is shot during a botched mission in Istanbul and goes missing. He tracks down the mastermind, Raoul Silva, played by Javier Bardem, before he can execute his revenge plot.
The film also features Severine, played by Berenice Marlohe, and Eve Moneypenny, played by Naomie Harris. Judi Dench's character M serves as the central focus of the narrative, with audiences lauding her portrayal as 'tremendous'.
