Viewers complain about lack of live show

Taking to social media, viewers were quick to complain over the fact there was no new instalment and the show wasn't live. One person said: "Everyone must be on their holibobs. Not quite the same as the live shows."

A different account wrote: "Look forward to this, but how come there is no 'live' or new episode tomorrow?" while another put: "Where's the live show? I was looking forward to it… Oh well; will just have to settle for best bites.. At least it'll feature Bob Mortimer."

Elsewhere, a different account commented: "Why isn't the live show on? Didn't initially see it was a repeat. Was really looking forwards to seeing Bob on again. Disappointed. Not watching this again."

Some fans excited for Bob Mortimer

However, not all viewers were disappointed as some fans were quick to share their excitement over Bob Mortimer's appearance being replayed on the programme. One person said: "With Bob it will be one hilarious show!!! Can not wait" to which another fan wrote: "Yeah - love Bob".

Another viewer commented: "Yay, Bob's back!!" with heart eye emojis as a different fan added: "Bob is always super entertaining"

Saturday Kitchen Live and Saturday Kitchen Best Bites both air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
