Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium line-up for August 2026, featuring a mix of new releases and classic titles. The month started with the addition of Helldivers 2 on August 12, and more games are set to arrive throughout the month, with Sony staggering releases similar to Xbox Game Pass.
August PS Plus Extra and Premium games
Following Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Vampire Survivors will join PS Plus Extra on August 18. Later in the month, on August 25, the service will add Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2.
Premium subscribers will also get Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire on August 18.
Games leaving PS Plus Extra on August 18
Several titles will leave the service on the morning of August 18, giving players only a few hours to finish campaigns or purchase the games to keep playing. The most notable departure is Dead Island 2, which is currently available for as low as £14.79 as part of the Dead Island Series Bundle.
Other games leaving include Bomber Crew, Clash: Artefacts of Chaos, Earth Defence Force 6, Harold Halibut, Space Crew: Legendary Edition, and Unicorn Overlord. Harold Halibut is a hidden gem worth playing if time allows.
