Overwatch Season 4, titled Heroes of Busan, officially launches on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with UK players able to jump in at 7pm BST. The update brings a new Tank hero, D.Mon, along with complete map reworks, Mythic skins, and a fresh Battle Pass.
Start time and time zones
While Blizzard hasn't officially confirmed the start time on social channels, the in-game countdown for the Season 3 Battle Pass points to 7pm BST. Blizzard typically avoids long gaps between seasons, and this timing aligns with previous season launches. For players worldwide, the start times are 11am PDT, 2pm EDT, 3pm BRT, 8pm CEST, 3am JST (August 12), and 4am AEST (August 12).
New hero D.Mon
The headline addition is D.Mon, a tank hero similar in style to D.Va. She spends most of her time in a mech suit, equipped with a ranged weapon and a neon lightsword for close combat. Her full kit hasn't been revealed yet, but a Season 4 trailer is scheduled to air at 6pm today, which should showcase more of her abilities.
Other updates
Season 4 also introduces a new Battle Pass, a Mythic Skin, and a Mythic Weapon, though which heroes will receive these has not been previewed. Additionally, three maps—Paraiso, Eichenwalde, and Busan—are set for visual and layout changes, though specific details are unknown. As usual, players can expect adjustments to hero stats, abilities, and perks, with full patch notes to be reported once available.
