Oasis fans baffled by vague new teaser video hinting at 2027 tour

Oasis have posted another cryptic teaser video that appears to hint at their rumoured 2027 tour, leaving fans guessing over its meaning.

Earlier this week, the Manchester band shared a clip pointing to Glasgow's Celtic Park, with another following on Friday that made a strong connection to Manchester City's Etihad Stadium with references to football and a Blue Moon symbol.

Speculation over tour dates

It has been heavily speculated that Oasis are on the brink of announcing a string of new tour dates for summer 2027 which, if true, could include a whopping 12 shows at the Etihad. A 'leaked' list suggested there could be 23 dates in the UK in total.

In addition to suggesting the band would open in Glasgow, the leak also suggested that dates in Knebworth, Paris and Munich would follow.

The new video and fan theories

In a post today, the speculation continued as a new video was shared on the Oasis Instagram page. It shows people in a car situated in a field with two men play-fighting in the background as Be Here Now plays.

The video follows suit of the other two clips so far with some hard-to-decipher Easter eggs. Some fans suggested it was linked to Knebworth, with one person saying: “CMON KNEBWORTH!!!!!!”. Another said: “Is that purely just in Knebworth park?”

Similar to original City stomping ground Maine Road, the band played two nights at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire in 1996. The August 10 and 11 shows were attended by more than 250,000 fans and have since gone down in music history as some of the biggest and most memorable music shows in the country ever since.

However, others weren't so sure, instead picking up references to German radio. One person said: “ITS GERMAN! THE PERSON IS SPEAKING GERMAN!”

Another said: “German radio that mentions Munich and what seems to be red and white shirts = Bayern München - Allianz Arena.” It was also highlighted that the person sat in the car was sat in the left seat, suggesting it was not in the UK.

Further backing up the Munich suggestions, another fan said: “München! There was a oasis concert November 19the 1997 at the OlympiaHalle in München.”

Fans left puzzled

But most fans seemed to struggle with this clip, being the most vague of the three shared so far. One wrote: “WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEEEAAAANNNNN.” Another said: “yeah i got no idea for this one.”

Earlier today, Liam and Noel Gallagher made an appearance together on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival as they attended the world premiere of their new documentary film Don't Look Back In Anger. Released in cinemas on Wednesday, the film will feature behind-the-scenes footage from their 2025 reunion tour as well as their first joint interview since the tour began.
