The cast of Last One Laughing UK's third season has been unveiled, featuring a line-up of well-known comedians. The Prime Video programme is set to return next year with 10 comedians placed in one room with the task of not laughing.
Cast for season three
In a departure from previous seasons, series two winner David Mitchell will not be returning. Another change sees Jimmy Carr's deputy, Roisin Conaty, step into the competition this time. Mel Giedroyc, who appeared in series two, will take over as deputy.
The confirmed contestants alongside Roisin are Lee Mack, Katherine Ryan, Harry Hill, Katherine Parkinson, Michelle de Swarte, Jon Richardson, Morgana Robinson, Josh Jones and Richard Ayoade. Richard competed in the first series but narrowly missed out on the trophy.
Release date and episode count
The series will arrive in 2027, though Prime Video has not yet confirmed the exact date. A March release is considered likely, as the first season premiered on March 20 and the second on March 19.
It is expected that the season will have six episodes like its predecessors, possibly split into three batches as before. Typically, the first three episodes are released together, followed by the fourth and fifth, with the finale released last.
Halloween special before season three
Before the new series, a special edition titled Last One Laughing: Halloween will be available. It features comics trying not to laugh and not to scream. The first three episodes will be released on Prime Video from October 23, with the final episode on October 30. The line-up includes Jack Dee, Phil Wang, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer, Tom Allen, and former series one stars Lou Sanders and Daisy May Cooper.
Last One Laughing season three will release in 2027.
