DJ John Summit has confirmed he will no longer perform at Creamfields 2026, just over a week before the festival is set to take place. In a story shared to his Instagram account, he announced he is taking the rest of August off touring to rest and prepare for his upcoming arena tour.
Rare cancellation
In the message, Summit wrote: “Hi guys, after much thought I have decided to take the rest of August off of touring to rest & get ready for my upcoming arena tour.” He added: “I unfortunately will not be able to make it to pukkelpop, Creamfields, Radio 1 Malta & touquet festivals. I rarely ever do this but there is so much work to do for the tour and I need to recharge my battery a bit before this fall. thanks for understanding.”
Summit was scheduled to play at Creamfields on Friday, August 28, 2026, appearing on the Apex stage with Capital Dance alongside FISHER.
Festival lineup unchanged
Creamfields remains one of the biggest music festivals in the world, with the lineup including Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Disclosure, Underworld (Live), Amelie Lens presents AURA, Becky Hill, Carl Cox, and many more. The festival also features on-site entertainment, with Downtown set to return in 2026, offering an on-site gym, five-a-side football, wellness classes, pampering, and special secret sets.
The Illinois native has maintained a typically relentless touring schedule, headlining Lollapalooza, continuing his [UNVRS] Ibiza residency, and performing at festivals including Ultra Europe, Tomorrowland, and Canada’s Cowboys Music Festival, according to Billboard.
Liverpool ECHO has reached out to Creamfields for further information and to ask if there will be a replacement for Summit.
