James Bond casting final round: 'They may have found their guy'

The next James Bond may have already been cast, according to two insiders. Rumour has it that the next rounds of auditions have taken place in secret this month.

Amazon MGM Studios' 007 producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman, alongside director Denis Villeneuve and screenwriter Steven Knight, will presumably be screen-testing the lucky few still in the race to replace Daniel Craig.

Insiders share casting update

Two trusted scoopers have heard something rather exciting. Daniel RPK shared on X: "I hear they're in the final round of casting for James Bond and might have already found their guy."

Meanwhile, Jeff Sneider commented: "Heard the same rumour. First it was down to seven, then three. Now 'they may have found their guy.' Who knows at this point? But for some reason, I don't think it's any of the so-called frontrunners, including the Aussie…"

Frontrunners and other contenders

Sneider was referring to Jacob Elordi as the Australian. Other so-called frontrunners in the bookies' race are Jack Lowden and Callum Turner.

Perhaps less well-known names in the odds, like Tom Francis and Leo Suter, might be in with a chance then.
