Rockstar Games has confirmed that the next trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 will premiere exclusively on Netflix, ahead of its release on other platforms. The announcement ends speculation about an imminent trailer drop and sets a specific date for fans.
Release Date and Time
Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 pm ET (8 pm BST). It will then be available on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI website at 9 pm ET the same day, six hours after the Netflix debut.
Fans without a Netflix subscription will have to wait until 2 am the following day for the extended look to appear on Rockstar's social channels and the GTA 6 website.
What to Expect
Netflix described the extended look as showcasing "one of the most anticipated releases in history." While details remain scarce, it is expected to include a new cinematic trailer or gameplay preview.
GTA 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 13 years after GTA V. A Netflix VP of Nonfiction Series commented: "Grand Theft Auto reveals have become cultural moments in their own right.
