Find the Toad Hiding on the Garden Path in This Brainteaser

A brainteaser circulating online challenges viewers to spot a toad camouflaged on a paved garden path. The image, originally shared on Reddit, shows paving slabs with weeds pushing through gaps. The person who posted it described the creature as a "baby toad" and challenged viewers to find it.

The Challenge

Experts reckon that only those with truly hawk-like vision will be able to pinpoint it within 10 seconds. The toad is remarkably well camouflaged, blending in far better than expected despite the relatively open setting.

Hidden object puzzles reward patience and practice as much as natural ability. Over time, you'll start to recognise the kinds of spots where things tend to be concealed, and your eye will naturally be drawn to the right areas.

The Answer

The toad is tucked away in the top-left area of the image. Using the grid markers added by the Reddit user, it sits in the B3 square. Look for the section on the left-hand side where one of the paving slabs appears to be missing. Right at the point where that gap meets the surrounding slabs, just below a patch of green weed, is where the little toad is hiding. Its grey, mottled colouring makes it almost impossible to distinguish from the stone beneath it.

Several commenters noted that calling it a "baby toad" isn't quite accurate—baby toads are tadpoles. What you're actually looking for is simply a small, fully formed toad. Others admitted that the many leaves scattered across the image didn't help, with several confessing they kept mistaking leaves for the toad before finding the real thing.
