Isabel Hodgins, known for playing Victoria Sugden in Emmerdale, has returned to the ITV soap's set, hinting at her character's comeback. The actress, who left the show earlier this year, shared a photo of the studio's stage door on her Instagram Stories, suggesting she is already filming again.
Dramatic Exit
Victoria's departure came after a turbulent period in the Dales, where she killed her brother John Sugden during the Corriedale crossover episode. Joe Tate later blackmailed Robert Sugden into framing Moira Dingle for murder, using evidence of Victoria's crime.
In real life, Isabel took maternity leave and welcomed her first child, a baby girl, in February. Her recent visit to the set with her daughter Georgie and partner Adam excited fans, with Isabel writing: 'For the first time, I got to show Georgie (and Adam) around the village that's been such a huge part of my life.'
Return to the Dales
Since Victoria's exit, the soap has seen the arrival of distant cousin Serena Sugden, played by Casey Al-Shaqsy. Show boss Laura Shaw has expressed a desire to keep the Sugden family central to the show, making Victoria's return likely.
