EA Sports has announced the first promo of EA FC 27 Ultimate Team, and it puts the power in the hands of the fans. Gamers will get a chance to vote on the players they think will "define the season" ready for the first event of the season.

Destined for Glory will be shaped by EA FC fans as they vote on players who they think will have the biggest impact on the pitch. The best part - it can be absolutely any player at all.
Starting on Friday, August 21 when the EA FC ratings database is released, players will be able to choose a player and vote for them to be included in the first Destined for Glory squad in FC Ultimate Team. The final squad will include live upgrades based on real-world performance.
How to vote and promo launch
The voting process is simple. Those who want to have their say just have to visit the ratings database page on the EA FC 27 website between August 21 and September 10. There, they can find a player they think will be among the top performers across the season. Finally, gamers select the 'vote' button next to the chosen player.
EA Sports confirmed that voting is open to everyone and any player in the Ratings Database is eligible to receive votes. There's also no restriction on voting.
Voting ends on the same day that the full ratings database, including international transfer updates and PlayStyles, will be released. The Destined for Glory promo will take a couple of weeks to launch, as the best part of three weeks will pass between the vote closing and the event beginning.
Promo dates and duration
Destined for Glory will be live on EA FC 27 release day - Friday, September 25. It'll also run for the two-week period that long-time FC players will be accustomed to, ending on Friday, October 9.
