Leakers claim that Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero will return to Ultimate Team as a new Icon card in EA FC 27, marking his first appearance since FIFA 22.
Aguero's return
According to dataminers and insiders like FUT Sheriff and FUT Police, Aguero has been found in test versions of the game, with references in database files and closed beta assets. He may even appear in marketing screenshots. If true, it will be his first Ultimate Team card since his retirement in 2021.
Aguero was forced to retire at age 33 due to a heart condition, having played only five matches for Barcelona after leaving Manchester City. At City, he scored 260 goals in 390 games, becoming the club's all-time top scorer.
Other new Icons
The leaks also suggest that Paolo Rossi, Raphael Varane, and Brazilian women's legend Formiga will join as new Icons. Yaya Toure, John Arne Riise, Lucio, and Maicon are expected to be promoted from Heroes to Icons.
On the other hand, Patrick Kluivert, David Suker, Gianfranco Zola, Juan Veron, and Luis Hernandez are predicted to be downgraded from Icons to Heroes.
