Match creation was disabled at 8:30am BST, with full server downtime taking effect from 9am. The outage is expected to last until 11:30am. During this period, all online matchmaking, Ultimate Team services, and companion app functions are suspended across all platforms.
Affected modes and offline alternatives
The following online features are down: Ultimate Team (including matchmaking, Squad Building Challenges, and Transfer Market), Clubs & Co-op Seasons, Online Friendlies & Seasons, and the EA FC Companion App & Web App. Offline modes such as local Kick-Off, offline Manager Career, and Player Career remain fully functional during the maintenance.

According to an official statement from EA Direct Communications on X, server maintenance is scheduled to end at 10:30am UTC (11:30am BST). EA Direct Comms confirmed that maintenance began at 8am UTC (9am BST), with match creation turned off 30 minutes prior to protect active games from sudden disconnects. Players attempting to connect will see the standard "Unable to connect to EA servers" error message.
