Maintenance schedule

The maintenance was scheduled to begin on all three titles at 8am UTC (9am BST). It affects players on all platforms, EA Sports confirmed.

EA Sports Direct Communication on X, formerly Twitter, has confirmed a scheduled maintenance outage for August 19, affecting online services across all major platforms. Match creation was disabled 30 minutes ahead of downtime, preventing players from entering new Ultimate Team or online matches.

Downtime windows

Downtime schedules vary depending on which EA Sports FC title you are playing, but EA FC 26 is the most heavily impacted given its larger current playerbase. FC 26 and FC 24 will be down from 8am to 11am UTC - which is 9am to 12pm BST. FC 25 will be offline for an hour less than those two games, with maintenance scheduled from 9am to 11am BST (8am to 10am UTC).

The announcement that EA FC titles would undergo maintenance today came at 5am - just four hours before it was due to begin. Fans have reacted with frustration on social media platforms like X and Reddit, especially following maintenance that took place just last week.
